The Friendswood Youth Sports Day Parade will take place tomorrow, Saturday, March 29th, at 9:00 AM. Roads will be closed beginning at 8:50 AM. There are several alternate routes available during the duration of the parade.
– Northbound traffic on FM 518 traveling to FM 2351 will be diverted down East Shadowbend to Morningside Drive to Heritage Drive to Pecan Drive and then to FM 2351. The reverse route will allow traffic from FM 2351 to travel southbound back to East Shadowbend and FM 518.
– Eastbound traffic on FM 2351 can take Blackhawk Boulevard as an alternate route to reach FM 528.
– Southbound traffic on N. Friendswood Dr. (FM 518) will be diverted east on FM 2351 at the N. Friendswood Dr. (FM 518)/2351 intersection.
The parade should last approximately 30 minutes.
