League City, TX (September 20, 2024): League City Police Officers are conducting a death investigation that occurred in the 3300 block of E FM 646.
On Thursday, September 19, 2024, at approximately 2:32 p.m., the League City Police Department was notified of an adult female who appeared to have been deceased in the 3300 block of E FM 646. The caller advised the female was lying in the grass just south of the roadway. Officers and League City Fire Department’s EMS personnel arrived on scene and confirmed the woman was deceased.
Officers, detectives and the crime scene unit are conducting a thorough investigation into the cause of the woman’s death. Early indications appear the woman was possibly struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound sometime between Wednesday, September 18, 2024, and Thursday, September 19, 2024.
The female has been identified and her next of kin have been notified. The investigation is ongoing as detectives continue reviewing security video and nearby Flock Safety cameras.
