Katina Hampton
Katina began her career with the City of Friendswood in March 2007 when hired as the Budget Manager in the Administrative Services department. In October of 2009, Katina was promoted to Deputy Director of Administrative Services – Fiscal Operations responsible for Budget, Utility Billing and served as Deputy Investment Officer. Katina held this position until April of 2016 when her title changed to Deputy Director of Administrative Services – Finance, she was then promoted to Director of Administrative Services, in June 2017 and finally to Assistant City Manager in May 2024. Katina has also served on Regional and State Executive Boards and Committees of the Government Finance Officers Association.
Katina earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston and Master of Business Administration from Texas Woman’s University. She earned the Certified Government Finance Officer credential in 2009.
Katina and her husband, Darrell, are the proud parents of 3 adult children. They are active in their church and enjoy spending time with family and friends.
Leticia Brysch
Leticia or “Lettie” joined the City of Friendswood in April of 2021 as the City Secretary and became the Assistant City Manager in May 2024. In her current role, she provides oversight and guidance to the Department of the City Secretary’s Office, the Library and Municipal Court. Lettie also administers and oversees special projects, events and cross-departmental collaborations as assigned by the City Manager. Prior to joining the City of Friendswood, Lettie served as City Clerk for the City of Baytown for over 12-years serving as the Elections Administrator, Records Management Officer, Public Information Officer, and Local Registrar for the City and its special districts.
In her 20-year career in municipal government, Lettie has delivered a wide variety of high-quality administrative services and customer service innovations; such as, the implementation of electronic agenda management software, city-wide electronic records management systems, and a centralized electronic public information request system, among many other process improvements.
Lettie graduated holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Political Science from St. Mary’s University – San Antonio, and a Master of Arts in Peace Studies from the University of Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. Lettie is a 1997 Fellow for the Institute for International Public Policy and is currently a member of the 2024 Class of the Texas Women’s Leadership Institute that is sponsored by the Texas City Management Association.
Lettie enjoys spending her time with her husband Joey and son Julian.
