Glenda Faulkner began her career with the City of Friendswood in 2007 in the City Manager’s Office as an Administrative Assistant. Through the years, she held several positions in the CMO as well providing assistance with the City’s social media presence, later becoming the City’s Public Information Officer. In May of 2024, she became the Director of the newly added Communications Department.
Glenda is a Friendswood High School graduate and received her BA in Communications from Stephen F. Austin State University. She loves serving the community she grew up in.
