On Friday, April 11, 2025, the Friendswood Police Department was contacted by the San Marcos Police Department in reference to an alleged stolen motorcycle being sold in Friendswood. The bike had features consistent with a motorcycle that was stolen out of San Marcos according to San Marcos PD.

Friendswood Police Department’s Field Support Unit set up surveillance on a residence and observed a truck leave with a motorcycle in the bed of the pickup. A traffic stop was conducted in the 800 block of Briarmeadow Avenue and officers confirmed the motorcycle in the truck was the same one that was reported stolen.

“This is a wonderful example of Law Enforcement working together from miles apart. Collaborative efforts can make a significant difference in recovering stolen property and fostering community trust. It’s all about creating a shared sense of responsibility and commitment to justice.” said Friendswood Police Chief Josh Rogers

The Galveston County District Attorney’s Office accepted Felony charges for Theft and Unlawful Possession of Firearm by a Felon on Victor Antonio Ramos, 26, of Friendswood.
