At approximately 12:08 a.m. on March 16, 2025, Friendswood Police responded to a single-vehicle crash on W. Parkwood at Sunmeadow Blvd. A gray Ford SUV collided with a pole, causing damage that resulted in a power outage to the traffic signals at the intersection.
Emergency responders arrived and transported the driver to a local hospital with serious injuries.
W. Parkwood was blocked as authorities investigated the crash.
