Requirements:
1. The sponsor/donor must meet with the Parks & Recreation Department to receive approval of the bench location . Location requests are considered, but not all can be accommodated due to existing park events/programming and layout.
2. All benches are either Teak or Black metal. Please review attached photos for reference.
3. All benches are estimated at $1,500-$1,800 each.
4. Benches may be placed in Old City Park, the Dog Park, and Lake Friendswood. Stevenson Park is not accepting memorial benches at this time.
5. All benches are installed by the Parks Department.
6. The sponsor/donor must order bench plaques at Engraphics (281-992-9273), to ensure that it matches with other existing plaques. Once the plaque is ready, please deliver to City Hall and the Parks Department will install the plaque after the bench has been installed.
