The Friendswood Police Department received a report on February 16, 2025, in regards to a Hispanic male ringing a woman’s doorbell at her apartment located in the 17200 block of Blackhawk Blvd. The woman communicated with the man via doorbell camera and reported that he was asking for a ride. The woman called police immediately and did not answer the door. Officers responded to the area but were unable to locate the him. Using the footage provided, investigators were able to identify the male.
On February 19, 2025, the Friendswood Police Department was made aware of other incidents being reported on social media regarding the same individual. Although these incidents occurred just outside of the City limits, Friendswood Police were able to make contact with all reportees and obtain further information and video footage of the individual. Including an incident where a reportee was followed home by the individual.
The individual identified as Adolfo Espinosa, 41, was taken into custody by the Friendswood Police Department at approximately 9:54 AM, on February 20, 2025, for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia for having a crack pipe in his pocket at the time of arrest. Espinosa is currently out on bond through Galveston County for Evading Arrest Detention With A Previous Conviction.
