Today, the Friendswood Police Department remembers the life and legacy of Sergeant Dement.
On December 27, 2021, the Friendswood Police Department suffered a great loss with the passing of Sgt. Dement due to a COVID-related illness. Sergeant Dement faithfully served the City of Friendswood for 22 years and is greatly missed by all who knew him
