League City, TX (August 27, 2024): League City Police Officers are investigating a shooting that occurred in the 1900 block of E Winn St. One adult female is pronounced deceased at the scene, and an adult male has been transported to a local hospital with apparent gunshot wounds. An adult male suspect is detained as LCPD Criminal Investigations Division conducts a thorough investigation.
At approximately 9:44 a.m., on August 27, 2024, the League City Police Department was notified of gunshots being heard in the 1900 block of E Winn St. LCPD officers arrived at approximately 9:49 a.m., and quickly detained an adult male. Officers then located two gunshot victims, an adult female and an adult male, inside of the residence, and they began lifesaving measures until the League City Fire Department’s EMS Division arrived. The female was then pronounced deceased at the scene, and the male was transported to a local hospital by EMS for medical treatment.
This is still an active scene with LCPD officers, detectives and crime scene personnel on location investigating the incident. An update will follow.
